Asymptomatic Covid-19 testing in the workplace

There is a lot of information in the media regarding the testing of school children as they return to face-to-face lessons. Did you know that there are also asymptomatic schemes for workplaces too? Community asymptomatic testing is a major new tool to help identify and isolate individuals who have COVID-19 but do not have symptoms and may inadvertently be spreading the virus.

If you are a business with more than 50 employees registered in England and your employees cannot work from home, then you can order testing kits for your workplace from https://www.gov.uk/get-workplace-coronavirus-tests

However, there are many small businesses that have staff unable to work from home that have continued to work through this lockdown. Hampshire now has Community testing sites for people who regularly leave home to go to work and are not covered by an existing workplace testing scheme.

If you are a small business that has remained open because your staff cannot work from home, then please see further details on the Hampshire County Council website of how to book a test.
